View of the city of Amsterdam, taken from the West. On the left sheet it says in the foreground: Bark to sign off the city. Next to him on the ground lies his cloak and degen. More removed in a pasture in which several cows, runs a farmer's in, with the milk yok on the shoulders. Under the signer on the ground: P. bark. F. et excudi. 1601. On the right sheet one sees in the foreground two lords, who are talking to a lady, while a boy walks towards them. More removed, a meadow, with cow animals, one of which is milked by a farmer's ink. In the middle of the sky (partly on the left- partly on the right sheet) two angels, holding a lambel, on which: Amstelodamvm. In the l.b: from the left and in the r.b: from the right sheet a cartouche with the order of the engraver to the Amsterdam magistrate and the admiralty. Among the cartouches, the weapons of Amsterdam and of Holland.
