View on the side of the Eerste Sint-Antoniespoort in Amsterdam. On the right in the background the Oude Kerk. This fifteenth-century building came to lie within the city (on the Nieuwmarkt) after the urban expansions of the end of the sixteenth century and thus lost its function as a city gate. In 1617-1618 it was converted into a venture. This print was numbered at the bottom of the representation, to the left of the middle (I), but this figure was removed from the paper here after the printing.
