View of the Third Regulierspoort built in 1654-1655 and the accompanying bridge in Amsterdam, seen from outside the city. On the bridge and in the boats different figures. This stone city gate replaced the earlier wooden Second Regulierspoort. After the Fourth Explanation and the construction of the Utrechtsepoort (1664), this building had lost its function as a city gate. From 1669 it would be used as Boterwaag.
