Virgin and Child on the Crescent Moon, anonymous, c. 1475 - c. 1500 Canvas Print
She has the left foot slightly forward and holds the naked, seated child on the right arm. It turns its head in the direction of the viewer, grabs with one hand at Mary's veil, while the left hand lies above against her shoulder. Mary wears a front-folded robe with sleeves, which extends over the crescent moon, with a rectangular neckline, where the shirt protrudes above. The wide cloak, which hangs from the shoulder, tied by straps in front of the chest, is taken up under the arms and is struck to the left. A veil with frowned edge slipped from the head on the shoulders folds between her and neck.
