The Night Watch Room seen heading west in 1960. In the foreground view of the rear of the visitors who view the Night Watch from the new sofa. On the left side of the wall hangs a large work by Bartholomeus van der Helst. Night watch room seen heading west. New stone mesh walls with stucco are placed in front of the original walls and columns with caryatids. The original design of the room is still largely present behind these new walls: room with circular brick koof on a cornice, which opens a glass overhead light. The original raveel construction of the skylight consists of composite iron beams and is supported by four marble columns with caryatids.
