Western courtyard with a test set-up of the Meissen porcelain late 1956, 1956 - 1957 Canvas Print
Southwest corner of western courtyard, to see are the wallwork and windows and part of sculpture in the corner above a window. A major reordering of the museum's property could not take place before the possibilities of the various halls were investigated by means of test setups. Therefore, in the winter of 1956-1957, the halls of the western courtyard were all provisionally furnished to see what requirements the renovations should meet. For the test set-up in the western courtyard, with large sheets of paper and long rags, the rooms were framed in which the 18th-century crafts, which had largely never been seen in the museum, were provosoricly set up. The Meissen porcelain is set up in this room.
