Glass jar decorated in carvings. The foot is trumpet-shaped, strongly hollowed out in the middle. The trunk is composed of four smooth nodi between which a kantig piece with one bubble and a thick nodus with two rows of air bubbles. The chalice is konisch with two curves on the undersides. The carving of the chalice: row of four arches with a figure standing on a pedestal. Man with fasces in the left and horn of plenty in the right hand. Crowned figure with sword in the left and reins of the lion behind him in the right hand. Gestured man with heart in the left and book in the right hand; next to him a stork with ball in raised leg. A warrior with a wreath in each hand. Above each figure: three weapons suspended from a ribbon. In the swells the arms of Arkel. Zuid-Holland, Gorinchem (with Arkel) and the Republic of the United Netherlands. Above Gorinchem two hands in each other.
