Halfway down the neck a ledge or shiver of clay. From this height, a vertical ear runs up to the shoulder. On the ear is attached a pewter valve cover. On shoulder, incision line runs around the jug. On the belly: three relief medallions with coat of arms and the year 1585. Gray-white glaze on cream shard. Neck decorated with radial ridges.
