Worship for Frédéric de Merode and other fallen in a church on December 4, 1830. De Merode was one of the leaders of the Revolt and was wounded during an encounter with Dutch troops on 24 October near Berchem. He died on November 4. Part of a group of prints from various other series related to the plates in the recueil about the events during the Belgian Revolution in Brussels, Antwerp and other cities in the period 25 August 1830 to 27 March 1831.
